I am an only child. Lonely since I could remember. At 6 years of age, I made a vow - Never will I subject my child to an environment of loneliness. Got married at 26; to one whom I consider to be the most beautiful person I have ever met in my life and had 4 beautiful children with her. For the record, I have never nor will I ever cheat on my wife. I do not need to...she is everything I have ever wanted and more. 3 boys and the youngest a girl.
Each of my child is special to me and I remembered how each of them was conceived, carried and delivered. I was there throughout it all, and it was magical! I cannot thank my wife enough for what she gave to me and my family. There were severe complications in each delivery and I had almost lost her twice! I thank god each day for keeping my family safe and would gladly sacrifice everything just to ensure that they are well taken care of. They are undoubtedly the reason my heart beats each day and the driving force behind everything that I set out to accomplish in life.
Each of them is a unique character and I spend much time trying to envision how they will all be in the future. No.1 has a heart of gold and will not hesitate to care for those around him. Though not a highflier, he will be critical in keeping the family together. No.2 is an overachiever and great things will happen for him when he is ready. Always competitive, always wanting to win. Anything less than the best is simply not good enough for him. No.3 is a classic middle child and will fight if he must for the attention of people around him. He is extremely creative and has a flair for the artistic side of life. Rules are meant to be challenged for him. Not ideal, but a real character, if you ask me. Then comes the princess...she is undoubtedly the balance we need in the family. By far the most loved amongst the siblings, she can almost do no wrong in the eyes of the elders. Will she be spoilt? Are you kidding - with 3 older brothers to protect and care for her, I'd call it a given! What amazes me is the bond she shares with her mother...unbreakable!
